Hutchy Takes Charge With George Nooks Collab

Kingston, Jamaica: -

Hutchy is a newcomer to recording but has been on the reggae music scene for over ten years. With Growing success of his critically acclaimed album My Time on the Ruff Cut Records Label, Hutchy has released a gritty remix of the 45 Take Charge the original of which was the second track on his album My Time on his own Ruff Cut Records label.

The remix features George Nooks who is well acclaimed in reggae music circles. Take Charge is social commentary at its best and is a timely reminder of the perils of bad leadership. Overall the song is fit for all ages and has many lessons imbedded in its powerful lyrics. Take Charge is voiced on one of Hutchy's signature One Drop rhythms and forces you to listen.

The input of Nooks is commendable and he compliments the overall feel of the song with his good vocal quality, which makes the remix worth a second listen. The song is reminiscent of the golden days of reggae.

Take Charge, the original mix, has been getting air play on over 200 radio internationally and has now been added to rotation at radio stations in New York and the Tri State area.

Hutchy – My Time has already been receiving tremendous airplay in the U.S.  Within the 1st two weeks of its release, the album was added to over 100 College and Pacifica radio stations' rotation.  The CMJ Charts, who monitor radio stations, reported that Hutchy – My Time was the 4th most added album, two weeks in a row.  DMX cable network added seven tracks from the album and XM Radio added five.
