      Bahamian Promoter Attempts To Kidnap Chuck Fender

Popular Roots Dancehall artiste Chuck Fender survived an attempt to kidnap him and members of his backing band in Bahamas. 

It is was stated by our Bahamian sources that the altercation occurred when chuck fender and the promoter of an event on which Chuck Fender was booked to appear had a disagreement over payment for the appearance. 

Chuck Fender decided to make a public announcement stating the reason for his non-appearance and after leaving the Radio Station complex where it was recorded, Chuck Fender and his entourage was accosted by a group of men who were led by the promoter named Trevor Davis. 

An altercation ensued between the two groups of men and after the dust settled Chuck Fender had lost his jewelry and had accumulated a few cuts and bruises. 

The matter was reported to local police authorities, who have since issued a warrant for the arrest of Trevor Davis.
